The Dangers of Breast Surgery
Besides the risk of the surgical procedure itself, there are other problems that would seem obvious after having breast surgery but most women don’t find out about these issues until it’s too late.
Below are some common complaints from women who had to learn the hard way that breast surgery was not all that it was cracked up to be.
1 – The Pain
It is very obvious that pain will be a result of any surgical procedure no matter how minor it is, how much pain women experience after breast implant surgery will vary depending on the procedure.
Some implants are placed over the muscle and others are placed under the muscle, the size of the implant can also be a factor, most women will suffer bruising, swelling and pain from the torn tissue or muscle, everyone’s tolerance to pain is different.
Fortunately, pain medicines will be prescribed to reduce the pain, the length of time women experience pain from a surgical implant procedure can last for 3 weeks or longer, subtle pain may exist up to 3 months after the procedure.
2- The awkward feeling of larger breasts
A lot depends on the size of the implant, if you are a woman who started off with a very small bust size and went to a C or DD cup your body will let you know, carrying around that extra weight will seem weird and awkward which is one thing many women don’t think through.
While those big boobs might seem like a great idea at the time, over the years you are potentially setting yourself up for back pain, especially women with a small or petite body frame.
3- Clothes don’t fit the way they used to
So you now are the proud owner of a brand new pair of boobs, now it’s time to go out and buy new bras and tops, the unfortunate thing is that clothes shopping used to be pretty simple and most things fit, it was just a matter of finding clothes that you liked, now your clothing selection has become limited, with those big breasts nothing fits like it did before, making clothes and bras much harder to find.
4- Too much weight on top
While big breast may look good on the outside, one of the biggest complaints from women after breast enlargement surgery is they feel less agile, those spinning and Zumba classes seem a bit harder and it becomes more noticeable when running or jogging, those bigger breasts do get in the way and add a little more weight on top, that is something you will have to get used to.
5- The future of breastfeeding
Many women get breast implants early on in life not thinking of the effect it may have after they have children, and yes breastfeeding can be affected by breast implants.
Not all women will experience problems, others will suffer from subtle issues such as a newborn not being able to attach to the nipple or slow breast milk production.
The worst part is that if you do try and consult with a lactation specialist most will blame your breastfeeding issues on the implants.
The above are just some common complaints from women who have experienced breast augmentation, I am sure there are many other nuances making them wish they had opted for a natural breast enlargement alternative using vacuum therapy or a breast cream which is safer and has none of the above side effects.
Hi my name is Ellen
I have struggled a long time with small breasts and wanted to do something about it. While many of my friends have had breast enlargement surgery I decided to do things the natural way.
I have learned alot and for me it has been a fund journey. While my breasts are not huge they are much bigger. I wanted to share with other women the different products I used to make my breasts bigger.
